Ok. Finally got round to getting a blog up. I’ve been trying to do it for a while, dabbled in a server in my own home, but it’s not feasible right now at least.

Right, down to what this is all about. I hope to bring you information about the latest computer technology, get rid of the jargon if necessary and maybe provide helpful guides to help get through some tough tasks.

There will be a few people posting on here, so you will get differing opinions. I’m also biased sometimes, and hopefully this can be prevented, and a more balanced view can be given.

Currently there are four people writing for this blog:
Jon: “That’s me, creator, head moderator, etc. Currently most active, but hey we’re still getting started really.  I’ve been building my own computers for a while now, and I generally know what works and what doesn’t.  As for Windows, I’ve been using it since Windows 95 and I’ve learnt that whatever requirements Microsoft state, they are usually wrong.  Hopefully I can stop you hitting problems.  Plus I have used a few versions of Linux, then I stuck with Ubuntu, however I haven’t touched it recently.  I do tend to spend a fair bit of time gaming, but also look into penetration and network testing.  Sound too geeky?? Well I’m not. “
